Hi there,
So I'm building my halfling AB. 2 weapon style.
The focus is on criticals and all the low level spells that are activated in melee.
With all the sustain skills to choose from, I'm wondering how far and if I should invest in the Aegis school. It represents my only real source of healing, but I don't exactly have lots of mana to spare for sustained abilities.
Thoughts on Aegis and navigating through all the sustained abilities?
Since I'm playing an AB bent on criticals, I'm wondering if the 2 weapon technique tree is worth unlocking. It offers huge opportunity to crit tons of times with flurry etc... Would that be useful?

Re: Arcane Blade build questions
I would say there are 2 reason for arcane blade to go dual wield:
- flurry
- endgame very good swords boosting stats
But dont forget that most of damage for blades comes from arcane combat, which doesnt care if you use one or two weapons (only cares for cunning) and magic power for the damage.
The aoe crit special doesnt actually increase linearly ,gets stuck around 140dmg every time you crit... endgame this is not very useful.
Anyway, try new stuff and tell us about it!
P.S.: You might also want to try shield. Im not sure but as far as i know if you can unlock shield bashing (not sure if the tree is available) you could do much more than flurry (4 hits+arcane combate)

Re: Arcane Blade build questions
The oncrit shouldn't be that bad. I haven't had luck with arcane blades, but I had a mindslayer suffer savefile corruption on High Peak and a mooks seemed to be mostly in the low thousands of HP. I think 75% is supposed to be a reasonable late game crit rate and I think Arcane Destruction can itself crit so damage off of activated talents should be chopping a significant chunk off of mooks without taking actions away from beating on real threats.
