First I wanted to thank DarkGod for making this amazing game, i've been playing it for the last couple of weeks and having a blast.
I've never managed to get a zerker through darkfell, but I've never had a plan for this class. This time I'd like to try this approach:
-go with Shalore, drop runes/racials till I get track from Anorithil
-use category points on Bloodthirst at 10, Warcries at 20, extra infusions at 36 and Wyrm Bile.
-for prodigies Draconic Will and Cauterize (if I qualify)
-fight till low hp -> pop Heroism infusion, fight some more
-wait for Cauterize to kick in or Heroism end -> use my instant buffs (Adrenaline Surge, Unstoppable, Draconic Will, Blinding speed etc., extend with Timeless)
-when Unstoppable ends I should be back to 100%HP and shorter cooldowns usable again-> use Second Wind and mop up/run away
Is this plan feasible?
And about the questions:
1. Does Timeless increase the duration of Draconic Will?
2. At approximately which level can you get 'close to draconic world'? (I know you can get Wyrm Bile after returning from the east, when is it sensible to do though?)
3. How do Heroism infusions and Unstoppable interact? (if i'm below 0 HP and use Unstoppable, will it get me back to 1 HP?)
4. How do Unstoppable and Adrenaline Surge interact? (if i'm say at 1HP and use Adrenaline Surge, then Unstoppable, will the HP cost kill me , or will the Unstoppable effect kick in first?)
5. Will Shalore active racial abilities qualify me for Cauterize? (theoreticaly they count as spells)
6. What's better for this kind of build, Cauterize or Swift Hands for my second Prodigy? (or maybe something totaly different?)
7. I'm not sure about infusions: Heroism, Heal/Regen(?), Wild (physical), Movement (at 36?), 1 extra Wild/Movement/Heal(?), maybe Superiority instead?
8. What other rewards from escorts benefit me most?
Thanks in advance.
Some berzerker (but not only) questions.

Track isn't all that needed on normal. You'll get items with it if you really want it. Don't sweat over it if you don't get it from escort. Your prodigies seem a bit defensive. I'd consider something more offensive. Endless Rush thing is pretty neat.sheepisready wrote:First I wanted to thank DarkGod for making this amazing game, i've been playing it for the last couple of weeks and having a blast.

Don't trust on heroism alone to save you. When it's time to do heroism you should tele or move infuse away.-fight till low hp -> pop Heroism infusion, fight some more

Other than that your plan could work.
2) Roughly around 34 I'd say.And about the questions:

4) iirc fantastically. Few turns of pure mayhem.
6) I can carry the world gives decent strength bonus. The rush thing closes gaps to casters pretty fast.
7) don't know about your race choice but with dwarf the saves are decent enough to go with one. I didn't find Superiority of much use. I blew few points in it but later removed them.

This of course just my opinions. On my playthrough the only noticeable difficulty was the end bosses. Everything else felt actually pretty easy. Once you get your game going and feel you are doing good I'd say you should concentrate on boss strategies and stuff.
You can see my dwarf Berserker winner by going to my char list on my signature if you want to compare.
Stronk is a potent combatant with a terrifying appearance.
Re: Some berzerker (but not only) questions.
I had tons of fun with Legacy of the Naloren. Might work well with your build, since it's such a huge boost to your offensive firepower you can afford to spend more points/infusions on healing and mobility. And it's nice to know for sure you've got an end-game weapon coming instead of hoping for good drops. On the other hand if you're not going AM you'll have more choices in that regard.
Re: Some berzerker (but not only) questions.
I had lots of fun with Legacy of Naloren as well. My zerker win had it and was also heavy invested in the locked cunning tree, which is perhaps the most powerful melee tree available. I high recommend it
My rush recharge with the artifact war ring, Naloren artifact and rush armour was at -7. This allowed me to rush more than once a turn (with speed increases).

Re: Some berzerker (but not only) questions.
I won with a Shalore Berserker using a similar strategy as you so hopefully I can give you some pointers. This was before the most recent patch so some things may have changed but as far as I can tell most things are the same for Berzerkers.
Warcries is decent but I'm not sure if it's worth getting at level 20, consider waiting until level 36 if you find decent inscriptions.
Draconic Will is not that great if you're pumping con (which I recommend doing) since Unflinching Resolve trivializes status effects. It is still decent but not amazing.
Never rely on Cauterize since it's a bit buggy. It's still worth getting but don't depend on it.
I like to use Unstoppable and a speed boost (Grace of the Eternals or Blinding Speed) early and pop Heroism and Timeless when it has one turn left.
2. Around level 35, do the There and Back Again quest as soon as you get to the east if you want to rush it.
3. I haven't actually tried this but my understanding is it can't drop you below 1hp, I would be careful with testing this.
4. Unfortunately, you can't use stamina costing talents if you have no stamina and 1hp, the game just doesn't let you.
5. Yes, I got Cauterize on my Shalore Berzerker without unlocking any escort trees.
6. Cauterize is great, Draconic Body is good, and Flexible Combat makes your damage get ridiculous. Swift Hands got nerfed hard last patch and it's pretty boring so I wouldn't take it.
7. Regeneration, Movement, and Heroism are the important ones. I'd also get a Shielding and Wild (physical)/Controlled Phase Door/Invisibility.
8. Always take when possible Premonition, Charm Mastery, Unflinching Resolve, Chant of Fortitude, Disarm, Healing Light, and Spin Fate when possible. From the Alchemist you should take dexterity for lack of a better option or maybe Stone Alchemy if you're willing to spend a prodigy as well since Berzerker only really needs the Bloodthirst category (though Warcries and Dirty Fighting are good too).
Track isn't important on normal mode, don't bother with it.sheepisready wrote:First I wanted to thank DarkGod for making this amazing game, i've been playing it for the last couple of weeks and having a blast.
