After being freed from the Internment Camp, some orc pyromancers came to Kruk Pride. There, they saw a steam generator. After finding out how it worked, some among them asked themselves: "Wouldn't some fire magic make this work better?" After some time of tinkering, the answer turned out to be yes.
The Inferno Forger is a steam and mana-based fire mage. Due to the amount of magic required to keep the generator stable, their magic has taken a more supporting role, with the steamtech supplying the direct damage. They normally use staves as well as unarmed attacks.

Pressurized Steam Tank You gain massive extra steam capacity. If this is deactivated while you are using the extra capacity, you explode, dealing fire damage around you based on the overflow steam. BUG: When quitting to menu, this triggers and damages you, despite the fact that it normally doesn't damage you.
Steamtech/Flames Fire Gauntlet Whenever you land a melee attack, you consume some steam to create a cone of fire at your target. Grants staff weapon mastery.
Burning Pirouette Attack all targets around you, debuffing their accuracy and defense.
Searing Strikes On melee crits, you perform an additional unarmed attack. This has a per-turn limit.
Blazing Blur A staff hit that is guaranteed to hit, followed by two punches that stun and confuse if they hit.
Steamtech/Heat Steam Vent Emit a cone of superheated steam, dealing fire damage.
Excess Venting You passively deal fire damage around yourself each turn. Whenever your current steam + steam regen would eclipse your capacity, this damage increases based on the steam overflow.

Heat Conversion Gain resistance to self-inflicted fire damage. Whenever you take fire damage, you gain a portion of the premitigation damage as steam. This can trigger Excess Venting if the amount of steam gained would exceed your capacity.
Scorch Set yourself on fire, gaining movement speed, fire retaliation and steampower, but taking fire damage each turn.
Steamtech/Mechanized Combat Enhancing Pistons Gain weaker unarmed mastery, as well as some accuracy. Melee critical stun for 2 turns. This effect has a cooldown and costs steam.
Grappling Shot Pull a target to you, hitting it with an unarmed attack.

Steamfire damage is damage from Fire Gauntlet, Steam Vent, Excess Venting, Jet Propulsion and Shadowflame Pulse.
Array Projection Project a cone of a damage type based on your active array.
Pure Steam Gain fire damage and penetration. Activating an array reduces the cooldown of Steam Vent.
Overload Generator You emit beams of the four array damage types at random nearby enemies, dealing damage and causing secondary effects as well as resetting the cooldown of some of your steamtech skills.
Corruption/Fire and Shadow Pact with the Inferno Deal bonus blight damage and gain vim on melee hit. Whenever you deal a steamtech crit, you project Excess Venting damage.
Corrupted Steam Your steamfire damage is partly converted to darkness. When you deal a certain amount of critical strikes, you cause a Shadow Flare, gaining darkness penetration. Self resistance from Heat Conversion now applies to darkness as well. Steamfire damage is damage from Fire Gauntlet, Steam Vent, Excess Venting, Jet Propulsion and Shadowflame Pulse.
Shadow Blaze Whenever you deal more than 80 darkness damage with a single hit, you burn the target for half darkness, half fire damage. Whenever you trigger a Shadow Flare, all nearby targets that are burning from this effect take a percentage of that burn damage instantly.
