I haven't done ANY kind of testing for Infinite Dungeon stuff yet, but I do plan to soon.

(Light spoilers) Much like all the other classes, I'm hoping to give "Avatars" something nice for completing the scenario so that players feel encouraged to do so in order to get a head start with the infinite dungeon.

Okay. Looking forward to ID content (although is it basically impossible to start from post game? I don't remember if you can level up without starting in the dungeon either. No clue)

So, after a long time I found my way back here after accidently sparking a discussion yesterday about this mod ingame.
I really dig the upcoming changes/additions and can't wait for them. (Hopefully the official addons will come soon(TM), I NEED new stuff!)

That being said, I can't stand forums. It's hard to search for information, even more after being away for a while. Are there other places, like a blog or whatever where we can read about your work?

Not at the moment, no. I've always wanted to get a personal website together, but I just haven't gotten around to doing it (since website construction/maintenance would cut into my long list of other tasks). So, for the time being, I'm just a guy on a forum who makes Tales of Maj'Eyal mods-- You can find me here, and I'll always be listening. :D

I still love Fire Drake the best, but I am starting to really enjoy Hydra as well. Mist Beast is super fun.

Mist Beast was actually malfunctional and I had to fix a lot of things about it. Also, you'll be pleased to hear it's getting some nice buffs and quality-of-life fixes. For example, it now tells you if a misty tile you're standing on is about to disappear, making it easier to stack shrouds upon yourself. "Mist Lurker" and "Hallucinations" now also functions with a variety of "other" types of mist, such as "Corrupted Sigh". Most importantly though, I changed the hallucination clones so that they are no longer "perfect" copies of yourself. This means there won't be any more "chugging" when fakes are spawned, as well as preventing quite a few "technical" errors related to "copying" the player (IE: if you were wearing Tree of Life and a hallucination was made, the clone would ALSO have the Tree of Life aura-- Which is nonsense!)

Found a bug message. No clue what caused it.

Happened when I walked into the Paladins vs Vampires vault. Seems to be continuing each turn.

Edit: It got worse.

I am now getting MANY each turn. I am still in the vault.

Edit2: It stopped once everything there died. Also, a floor effect ended at about the same time. It may have been the cause, but I don't know what created it. It wasn't me. It was probably a vampire.

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe it's ToME 1.5.0 (Unbroken, Unforgotten) and beyond-- Whichever update it was that introduced healing mod on Constitution and such. That update changed the way damage is "projected", and (because my add-on (intelligently) overloads it), several things broke.

Long story short: The currently released version may break here and there-- Especially in concern with how "damage" works. Play with discretion-- And I ABSOLUTELY stress playing on Developer/Cheat mode so that you can bail yourself out of problems like what Kamani had here lol


Edit: Errr, I wasn't very clear. Play on ToME 1.4.9 or lower. Anything higher breaks it.

I haven't had any severe issues (that I noticed), so for now I will just live with the issues. Although, how could I get a 1.4.9 copy of ToME?
