Undead start friendly with the Atmos tribe. This is as ridiculous as you would expect, considering they still start in the vaporous emporium.

Definitely one for the 'ridiculous' pile. I can't imagine why this would be the case, but I'll take a look into it after work today. Thanks for the report!

v1.0.6

Fixed an error that caused Undead to start on level 3 of the Vaporous Emporium and made the Atmos Tribe friendly to them.

Thalore tinkers start with a regen infusion in addition to their steam generator and two injectors, and therefore have 4 inscription slots at base.

Kruk Dwarves cannot be Stone Wardens.

Thalore tinkers start with 4 inscriptions: steam gen, 2 injectors and a regen inscription which shouldn't be there
EDIT: additionally, Doomelves still get escorts, and Dwarves cannot be Stone Wardens

Thanks for the report. Pretty sure I know what's going on, I'll look into it tonight after work.

I still got an escort just with a cornac PM on nightmare, so I'm pretty sure it's still a general thing.

Okay, made a little headway last night. Doomelf was the only race I missed the escort change on, that was an easy fix.
Thalore are not the only ones getting extra inscriptions as a Tinker,I'm still working on that one.
Stone Warden checks to see if you chose a Dwarf race... so I can add a check to see if you have Stone Wardens and then create a Dwarf Dwarf instead of a Prideful Kruk Dwarf. It won't fit the lore, but that is obviously not a /huge/ concern for this type off add on. I will try to get that and inscriptions fixed all at once, so it may be a day or two before I have a patch.

Miles: Are you sure you had the latest version? Doomelf was not updated correctly, but the other races were and being a Paradox Mage should not affect escorts. Were you using any other add ons that affect escorts?

v1.0.7

Players will no longer start with extra inscriptions.
Kruk Dwarves can now be Stone Wardens (if available).
Subraces are now broken up into their usual races instead of being grouped together under 'Prideful'.

Dwarves had to be of the race "Dwarf" in order to be a Stone Warden, and with no easy way around that they were going to have to appear under their own category anyway. This also lead me to the solution to my problem with inscriptions. They were being generated once when I merged the race and subrace /and/ at birth when the resolvers were encountered again (I think... I'm still not the best at this ;-p ). Now they will inherit everything needed naturally from their race and I can avoid the merge. Fingers crossed, all issues should be resolved.

Races still have the Kruk prefix even in the main campaign. Also, I'm not sure that winning with a race counts as far as the 'winner' chart on the main website goes, because it's technically 'Kruk' whatever, do you know if that's the case? I won with a Kruk Ogre demonologist and it didn't count for completion.

This is not intended to be used with the main campaign.

If you mean that winning Embers as a Kruk Foo doesn't give you an X for a Foo win, I wouldn't expect it to, nor do I think it should. If you mean that winning the AoA campaign as a Kruk Foo doesn't give you a win... well, see first comment.

Is there any chance of an addon which would allow the Embers races to be playable in the main campaign? :D

There's a 100% chance... ;-p

There's actually been one around longer than my addon which does just that. It doesn't have a forum discussion page, but you can grab it on the te4.org addons page, right here: http://te4.org/games/addons/tome/embersraces

v1.1.0

Now fully compatible with all campaigns! ('Kruk' races will no longer overwrite standard races when NOT playing the Orcs campaign with this add on enabled.)

Apologies for not fixing this sooner! The solution was pretty simple, but at the time I was developing the add on it just did not occur to me. You can now enjoy the benefits of this add on without having to toggle it on and off for EoR or AoA runs.

Added support for Midnight races, Mardrop (human subrace) and Star Elf.
Added support for new Inferno Race Pack races (as of version 1.1.8 )

Edit:
Unfortunately, making this compatible with the other campaigns has once again made it incompatible with Stone Wardens. I realized this almost immediately after uploading (isn't that always the way?). I'm working on a solution for that, but it's proving troublesome. I'll see if any of the Wise Ones can give me a hand with the issue and, hopefully, will have a fix soon.

Thanks (once again!) to StarKeep, Kruk Dwarfs can be Stone Wardens.

v1.2.0 is up on te4.org and the Steam Workshop, enjoy!
