Well, that appears to have fixed it! I've done some testing - up to the ruined dungeon - with a theoretically working build, and have unearthed a handful of minor bugs and one pleasant mistake that is also a problem. I... may have been too excited about this project to sleep, and am going to go do that now rather than digging through the code.

Things I have Learnt
-Race doesn't have the inscriptions I told it to
-...race may not have any escorts, but I can just add in the line of code that does that. Not sure why I didn't the first time.
-Blood Tithe seems to leave an effect even after it ends. And the duration is only two turns for no apparent reason. This is saddening, given this was the one I did the most work on from scratch. DXD
-The default faction is 'players.' ON the bright side, this makes the Rhaloren friendly to you! It also makes the orc pride friendly to you, so. I'mma have to change that.
-Rhaloren Corruptors are going to /cry/ at the weirdling beast. This isn't a bug. Just. Ow. unlock bone at 10 or lose.
-Oh, and I don't think the scalings in tooltips match those in the code. I should check more closely. But that might just be the way saves are calculated.
-Grayswandir and Housepet are actually angels. But I knew that anyway. >>

-Edit: OH. And worst of all, if I zip the file into a zip file and then name it as teaa, the game doesn't pick it up, so I can't send it to people neatly.

For publishing, you have to turn on developer mode and go into the developer menu. From there, go to register addon and all that what not and publish it to te4.org and steam (if you can).

If you want to manually make it into a tea file, you need to make it a no compression zip.

Well, it's published. I expect it's easier to find why the code is entirely wrong when people can actually look at it. The thread is over here, if you want to follow it, and if not then thank you for your help, I wouldn't have gotten it to 'playable' without you.
