Ah. Apologies then. Assumed it was an infinite500 bug, given the lines about infinite500. I assume that's because they're using 'rewritten' versions of talents in there failed attacks. Sorry to disturb you with it.

Hello,

I would like to ask if you modified anything regarding the prodigies ?

I'm on a Lich (ex-Cornac) Necromancer that is in the East and just reached level 36.

At level 32 i wanted to take the Blighted Summoning prodigy and noticed it wasn't available (other prodigies were available) , as the "you need to have summoned 100 creatures) was always in the red as if i had not yet summoned 100 minions.

Something simply impossible considering since level 1 my character never ceased to summon minions and very likely got a lot more than 100.

So i didn't selected a prodigy and resumed play.
As my character just reached level 36 i gave a look to the Prodigy list and noticed Blighted Summoning is still unavailable for my character, the game insist in telling me i didn't summoned 100 creatures.

As it's my first long lived Necromancer i can't say if it's a problem with the game itself or with your addon , the only time i had Blighted Summoning as a prodigy in version 1.0 of Tome 4 was when i was running characters in the Arena gametype , in which everytime i was level 32 Blighted Summoning was available (i didn't have your addon enabled at the time).

EDIT :
just ran into a bug that i never run into when playing without this addon so it may be linked to it.
After coming back from the East, backup guardians are created in some of the West dungeons.

Your 1st task is to build a portal in Last Hope, to do so you are asked to go back into Reknor bottom level , defeat the backup guardian generated there and get the items required for the Last Hope portal.

But it's the problem : i went into Reknor last level and the backup guardian has not been created there.
In fact the text that usually display telling you the place changed since last time you were there does not appear.

First time i see this bug, and first time i go back into Reknor bottom with that addon enabled.

Edit 2 :
Just reached level 42 , always using minions and still the prodigy is unavailable, the game refuse to acknowledge i have summoned more than 100 creatures.

Robsoie: The problem with not counting necrotic minions for the Blighted Summoning prodigy is indeed a bug in I500 which I have just fixed. I'll post an addon update to the site later this evening after I clean up a couple of things in the working version.

As for the quest bug to open a portal back to the east, that sounds like a quest bug in the main game, not the addon, since it doesn't touch any of the relevant quest code.

just tried to make 3 chars with the updated version and all 3 got 1 shot out in the open of lvl 1 by lvl 30 mobs, 2 from naga invasions 1 from a duathedlen... pretty silly

Posted a work in progress to fix the minions bug and forgot to clean up a couple of things. I've posted a new version that (should) fix these problems, the major events won't show up until higher levels. http://te4.org/games/addons/tome/infini ... level-50-8

Because of the way level generation works, any characters in the I.D. under the broken versions (1.7b and 1.7b1) won't be affected by the update.

Thank you for the update.

About the Reknor problem, as i just ran into a bug again in Reknor without addons enabled this time , with Golbug that has not spawned at all , i dug all around the level and found that there is a hidden room to the southeast of the map, several orcs are inside.

I'm then wondering if the backup guardian i didn't found had not spawned in this hidden and closed room instead of the regular location he is supposed to be in.
I can't check anymore unfortunately as the character i was playing when writing my report in this thread is now gone.

Golbug spawns at a fixed location and should not be in that room. If you run into the quest bug again, you should report it on the bug forums.

Bug report for v1.7b2:

Playing as an alchemist/adventurer, investing in 'Golem Power' to get the pet golem, and then taking the 'Legacy of the Naloren' prodigy is a bad combination, for the following reason.

This happens on each and every occurrence of leveling up with a golem companion and Legacy of the Naloren taken. Another save where I either didn't have a pet golem, or never selected LotN, didn't result in the above game behavior.

Skipping said error allows gameplay to continue, but the golem itself will never gain experience/levels on its own, aside from it dying/killing it, and then reviving through the Refit/Supercharge Golem talents, forcing it to the PC's current level.

I reported it already when i wrote that ;) unfortunately with no error message and no error listed in the log, finding the exact reason he didn't spawned may be impossible.

Especially as i have ran many character that have gone to the East, even won some games, but i never ran before into a Golbug not appearing problem, so it's difficult to even imagine what has been going on.

This finishes adding most of the major events to the I.D.

TimeDiver: I could not duplicate your bug. I did, however, revise the appropriate code to eliminate the error you reported. If you experience any more issues with the prodigy, particularly any problems with the bonus talent levels, let me know.

Preliminary testing seems to indicate that the v1.7c update does indeed work as advertised, but of course, the key word is preliminary.

Got a lot of poking and prodding to do on my own end with the mod's scripting, and to see what kind of hilarity said activities results in (strictly offline, of course).

just had a bug happen twice where my stone warden with stone vines active autoexplored onto the stunning rock pile trapand then completely bugged out and could not take any action whatsoever, had to end task both times.

Major events from the Maj'Eyal campaign: RatLich, Old Battlefield, Damp Cave, Drake Cave, Naga Invasion, and Fearscape Invasion.

About the Stone Warden bug: Can you be more specific? I500 does not make any specific changes to the Stone Warden class.
