Nicely done tiger_eye! Can you push your work to a "hex" branch on gitorious so we can see what was done? I am assuming that you completely replaced the square grid with a hex one for now, is that right?

I would be happy with just a hexagon based Infinite Dungeon to play around in to start with. It would get the bugs/map generation taken care of without needing to convert fixed maps.

Any map generators would need to be rewritten for hex.
