Hi!

I got stuck in sand after a fight.
I had to phase door.
I ended up in a small room disconnected from the big worm.
I had to use rod of recall.

Now there is no big worm at the entrance.
Will he re appear or is all lost?

You didn't have to recall out, new worms spawn frequently.

In the alternate Sandworm Tunnels, a Huge Sandworm Burrower will spawn on the left side of the map and make it's way to the exit on the right side. New Huge Sandworm Burrowers will frequently spawn after (you'll have a little message at the bottom telling you that your character heard something to the west).

As a note though, if you do go into the Sandworm Tunnels, wait a good deal of turns, and do indeed fail to have more Burrowers spawning, you may be experiencing a bug. I'm not sure it has been fixed but a while back in the alternate Sandworm Tunnels, the Huge Sandworm Burrower would sometimes get 'stuck' at the exit. If this is the case you'll have to resort to digging or teleports to make your way through to the following level.

The bug was resolved by spawning multiple burrowers without waiting for the first one to finish.
