This new version is Awesome!

I know that the mage class is unlockable. I haven't been able to get it yet. The best I've done so far is beat Bill and die on the way down the first dungeon afterwards.

Is the wilder class ready to play as well? Has anyone done it yet?

Thanks :)

Yes all unlockable classes are fully playable.
There are two wilder classes to unlock:
- Summoners
- Wyrmics

Summoners can be unlocked quite early, if luck, wyrmics will be a tad later in harder places.

I have unlocked them all.

Once unlocked they are unlocked for all time, unless you remove the hidden folder where your save file is.

This is spoilers...

So: You can unlock a wilder (summoner) in the trollshaws by seeing another monster that summons (I got a honey tree).

No idea how any other stuff is unlocked. :-)

For Mages, go hunt around the Blue Mountains for the red @ symbol and talk to them.

For the Wyrmic class go down the Sandworm Hole, and eat what you find at the bottom.

I've only unlocked skeletons so far, and there are others I think I remember from the development pages.

It took me quite a while to unlock the mage class. I kept going into the trollshaws and getting gold to buy staves from Bree. It looks like there is an archmage too that needs unlocking.

I got the skeleton race unlocked by being killed by one on my first mage. :)

Well done!
Have we got our first beta player to unlock mages ? :)

So how are skeleton mages ? ;)

Oh and Archmages are just the default (and only for now) subclass of Mages. no unlocking needed

Oh yeah, I unlocked the mage class on my wilder. I am looking forward to the wyrm version of it. Sadly that character got killed after finishing the initial quests in Trollshaws and the shade.

I'm still working on my survival skills. I can't seem to survive much after level 10ish.

I had a skeleton warrior that managed to get killed by the Trollshaws boss. He hits *hard*.

BLUE mountains? Looking around my map, all the mountains are grey. Is that because I haven't completed enough or are we talking different values of blue?
