Just like to say, I loved the update to infinite dungeons and thought the Arena could do with some sprucing up.

The Idea I was thinking was having new challenges themed around DLC addons.
So a demon focused challenge using Searing Halls tileset and an orc one with appropriate tileset.
Then extra ones can be added with each new DLC.

+1 to this idea. The current area only uses a very small portion of the enemies in game.

The arena might need tiering to make use of this mechanic, since as ID has shown us, having certain enemies at level 1 downscaled isn't really a good idea (looking at you tempests).

Otherwise, I can see it being used as a concept to make arena longer or more interesting, ie you can roll an ice area or a demon area after the first regular stage of arena, or something like that.

Yeah down scaled enemies might be a problem, a cluster of lvl1 fire imps would probably be bad.
Not sure if there are enough demon types to sustain an entire theme even with adding defiler class npc's.

Alternate arena layouts after the shop appears would also be cool.
Another crazy idea is a championship mode unlock after winning 10 times. You can now choose one of the winning characters and fight one of the others in 1v1 fights in a tournament ranking. Not sure if this would be interesting enough as an entire game mode, I just love the whole fight your previous character aspect of the arena.

Have you noticed that...Long-distance teleportation is basically useless and waste points, resources and turn (?) in this mode.

Either make a bigger arena, or tweak the skill (even only the description) please!

Half the fun of the arena is it's small size.
I think only the teleport rune and conveyance/teleport spell have minimum ranges, maybe just prevent teleport runes from dropping.

I release you can just create new enemies, just thinking out load really, weather the would be enough variance.
Demons seem to be mostly fire, blight and darkness. Their is also the water imp and Xorn guys.
You could just come with some new demons ideas for enemies, like Viod/cold and borrow some talents.

Orcs would be really easy I think, 3 new races and classes plus yeti and steam giant slaves would make for a very cool arena setup
