I have a friend who plays too much ToME, if such a thing is possible. His birthday is in a few months, and I decided that I would get him a map of Maj'Eyal to hang on his wall. Since I couldn't find any good ones online, I decided to make my own, which I will then laser-print onto some nice wood. I took a screenshot of Eyal at 10x10 tile size and have been working with that, starting with the West. ToME being a tile-based game, the world map is real geometric and uninteresting in some places, so I have taken some creative liberties. Still, I want it recognizable and accurate while still being interesting and realistic. Attached is my first draft of the coastline + rivers, and I'd like to get some criticism on its shape or anything else you can think of.
In summary, I am making a stylized map of Maj'Eyal (and eventually all of Eyal) and want criticism on my efforts thus far.
Thanks for the help.
