Post subject:  Module Making 101

Well the old posts have been lost, just as I was thinking about module making again. Can someone walk me through the basics.

1) Supposing I download the latest alpha of T3 (for Windows) and one or two modules (to play and to look at examples of coding), then what specifically do I need to do in order to play the modules (I think I have to edit a file somewhere to include the module, but I'm not sure)?

2) What version of LUA is used by the T3 engine?

3) are there any help files somewhere that will get me through the basics?

I also would appreciate module-making tutorials. Right now, I'm going by logic, guessing, editing some code, see if that fixed that, repeat as necessary.

1. Download the mod, unzip to "/Tome3/game/modules" You will find the Tome Module there. Don't edit nothing, just start up the game and you will find the mod there.

2. who knows?

3. Your brain is the best help file you can get. Or, looking through Tome2 help files is good, not too much has changed apparently in file format. (forgive me if I'm wrong. just what I see.)

Well the wikki answered a couple questions:

2) a modified version of LUA 4
3) The wikki had a couple links to module making on the front page. One is:
